PXG Hot Rod ZT - Zero Torque Putter
Zero Torque. Clutch Performance.
The PXG Hot Rod ZT is a center-shafted mallet putter engineered with a true Zero Torque Design to keep the face square to the path throughout the entire putting stroke. By positioning the center of gravity (CG) just below the shaft axis, Hot Rod ZT minimizes twisting forces that cause the face to open or close, delivering exceptional stability with minimal golfer manipulation. Precision-milled from 6061 aluminum with a black anodized finish, Hot Rod ZT features four interchangeable sole weights and concealed high-density tungsten to boost MOI and forgiveness. PXG’s Pyramid Milled Face Pattern enhances roll consistency while delivering the soft sound of an insert with the responsive feel of a solid milled putter.
Zero Torque Design
With the CG positioned just below the shaft axis, Hot Rod ZT generates virtually no torque during the stroke. This design keeps the face square to the path with little to no external force, ideal for golfers who struggle with face control.
Onset Hosel
The onset hosel directs the shaft axis just above the CG, creating a toe-up balance point that resists twisting. The integrated forward press promotes a natural setup and consistent loft delivery.
Materials & Construction
A CNC-milled 6061 aluminum body allows precise mass redistribution, while concealed high-density tungsten beneath the sole weight ports increases MOI for enhanced stability and forgiveness.
