The Cobra Snakebite X is a brand new wedge made to fit into various sets of game-enhancing clubs. With a hollow cavity back design, the center of gravity ends up low for more spin and a higher ball trajectory. At the same time, the club becomes very forgiving and gets a softer feel at impact. Add a slightly wider sole and you have a wedge that is significantly easier to play than standard tour wedges.
The grooves are CNC milled with extreme precision to generate maximum spin, and the surface between the grooves has been specially sandblasted so that the spin number is consistent even when it is wet on the course. In addition, the notches go over the entire hitting surface. The sole has a drop-shaped grind so you can open up the blade but still stay tight against the grass.
- Teardrop Grind is Cobra's new grind, refined to fit more golfers and give you confidence and forgiveness when hitting the green. Fits most types of courses and bunkers.
