New Callaway Chrome Soft X 2022 is a soft 4-piece ball with lovely high ball speed and low spin from tee and great feel around the greens. Compared to its predecessor, it has a larger and reinforced Dual SoftFast core, which provides high ball speed and low spin from the tee, which in turn generates optimum length and reduced spread. The all new Precision Technology delivers even tighter dispersions and more consistently fast ball speeds. The aerodynamic dimple design has been optimized to provide less air resistance than before for a longer and more consistent ball flight. The mantle layer provides consistent spin and a penetrating ball flight. The thin urethane shell gives a soft feel and lovely spin control around the greens. Compared to regular Chrome Soft, Chrome Soft X has a slightly firmer feel and provides a greater opportunity to shape the strokes.
